Weekend Update
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am enjoying my weekend. Yesterday, I went shopping at the mall for a bit after my final fitting for my new breast prosthesis. That evening I even manged to walk the entire neighborhood (2.4 miles) - albeit slower than normal. Today I went to my son's soccer game (they lost), but it was great to get out. I did not attend my daughter's game later that day due to the heat. I just can not tolerate it. One of my daughter's soccer coaches brought us over a huge cooked dinner for tonight and 2 bags of groceries. I was overwhelmed by her generosity. Actually, I am amazed by how generous everyone has been to us. THANK YOU!!!!

Hi there Cheryl,
I was so glad to see that you are out and about some. I know that if you are shopping some you are feeling little better. I miss being able to see you like when you were here but you know that YOUR ALWAYS in my Thoughts!!!! I saw Amanda today and she always asks how you are dong. Her Mom had the same Chemo that you are having and she knows that the end of your Chemo is near and says that it will be BETTER!!!!

Sorry I missed you last night. I was hoping we could just chit chat a little. Jesse and I plan on doing the 1 mile walk for the cure in Balt. in Oct. in your name! I think I've talked Stephanie into going as well. Looking forward to our shopping spree in October! Hopefully you'll be feeling MUCH better by then.
